Tenacious is a tall ship with a difference - and Sky News recognised this when they sent their Royal Correspondent Paul Harrison aboard to make a short film about her in the lead up to the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
JST staff pledge to raise £2012 for 2012
JST staff are jumping out of aeroplanes and abseiling - while others keep their feet on the ground in running races - all to join in the fundraising efforts to help people take part in JST voyages.

Claire Louise Smith is challenging both body and mind to walk 215 miles coast-to-coast in 12 days. Danny Taylor, who has limited mobility due to an accident, will be hand-cycling from Hull to Harwich. Malcolm Glaister is cycling from London to Paris to raise money for an injured serviceman to join JST Sail the World. Read their stories here.

Returning to the ship at 10pm it was sweet to see Sarah and Alexa having a 'pic nic' by the Foremast in the dark, banished there by W/L Rod. With nibbly bits) from Supermarket.

A beautiful sunny day at Cherbourg Harbour. Anchored nearby last night and stayed there overnight. Then after a fantastic breakfast provided by Dave the cook we sailed into Cherbourg this morning. Sian helmed us safely into the harbour.

Nearly there! After a beautiful sunny stopover in Jersey we have had a lively and chilly passage to the Solent where we are now anchored and the last harbour stows of the voyage completed, It will seem strange saying goodbye to the friends with whom we have been in close company for a month,
