We are still in the English Channel slowly moving towards Alderney at a maximum speed of 4 knots. The maximum wind speed is about 10 knots, however we don't seem to be moving much. It is 1540 and most of the crew are having some quiet time sunbathing and playing cards.
The more adventurous of us i.e. James, Alex, Maddy, Moritz and Peter have been climbing aloft. James climbed to the Royal Yard on the main mast and figured out how to take photographs one-handed. The permanent crew have been playing dress up (fire drill). Lunch consisted of chips, ham, egg & peas followed by a yoghurt, however, supper is still unknown. Stability has been restored -the hot chocolate has been found!!! The next watch is about to begin so I will let them carry on.
