Today, we arrived in Klaipeda, with the first strong wind all week! We were, however not undersail. That doesn't mean we were all lazy though, far from it in fact. We had sails to stow and a ship to clear up. Several days racing doesn't do much for your rope working skills.
Mooring wasn't without it's difficulties either. With a pokey little space to back into Nelly struggled against the wind. So we ended up spinning around and parking forwards. The next hurdle to leap was a language problem (thanks to David for getting us clear over that one) and finally we had to move the whole ship forward 10 meters to satisfy the Lithuanians. So now I have Klaipeda to explore. Which is why I am going to leave this log some what shorter than the others
Goodnight.
