Thought I’d give parents a little reassurance that us watch leaders really are looking after the girls and only injuring ourselves in the process....oh wait-nope, that’s just me!! J
A punctured leg in the line of duty while on one of the lovely night watches and a phone-over-board later and I think the girls have learnt a lesson or two! (Please remind me why I’m a guider again!)
In view of France now, and most people are up on deck in the lovely sunshine as it is beautiful today. Sailing for now with all but the Royal Sail set on the forward mast, with the “Girl Guiding UK- Girls in the Lead” Sail flying proud, only to take them down in a few hours to motor our way across a yacht race-hopefully we wont get in the way then, and continuing on to Jersey to dock tomorrow morning. And We’re going to be searching for the tackiest souvenir to win one of the challenges set to us by the adventure organisers.
(by the way mum & dad- this is my way of letting you know i don’t have my phone anymore-so don’t call me cause you’ll wake the fishes up! It had to happen to someone sooner or later, my luck just seams to be running short lately L -so remind me NOT to play he lotto!)
