Happy birthday banner and balloons decorated the lower mess – it’s Thelma’s birthday. Cookie made a huge chocolate cake with candles at smoko. Forward Starboard watch took over watch at 12.30pm dressed in oilies, warm things and our very bright green Ireland hats, which we are very proud of...they also make us look slightly green around the face...not sure if it is seasickness or reflection. We sailed towards Caernarfon bay and saw Snowdon and then braced the yards hard to starboard. We had our first rain, so posed for lots of photos in our bright yellow wet weather gear and wellies. Some of us were fishing from the stern platform, but so far, haven’t caught anything.
We have also been spending our money in the shop, trying on lots of t-shirts and buying our souvenirs, was all very exciting.
