Joined ship with 20 minutes to spare, poor Jack arrived minus his luggage, it did eventually catch up with us. Had the first of possibly many birthday celebrations with delicious home made cake. Loaded stores before leaving Lavrion a bit behind schedule but in scorching sun and very little breeze.
Heading for Malta and hoping to get a bit of sail up during the night.

PS. the observant amongst you may have noticed 'white watch'. Our numbers are a bit low- we only have 24 voyage crew, so we have decided to have a 3 watch system - red, white and blue. We will review the situation once we get to Malta and see how people feel about it, but the good thing for some is that those that have done the 0000-0400 watch get to stay in bed until 1000- see there is a bonus in all situations
