Wednesday morning saw Tenacious departing Cowes at 0900 after an excellent run ashore last night at the Island Sailing Club.
We have had two days in Cowes- partly to allow us a break and partly to allow a couple of audits to be done on the ship. A lot of people have been out and about exploring the island, with a group yesterday getting such good entrance concessions at one venue that they almost got paid to go in!
After a great run down the Solent, we are now under sail off the Sussex Coast dodging fishing floats and making for Beachy Head en route Antwerp. We have virtually all the sails set, but with a dying wind our speed is decreasing and we will soon be under engine. With Holland in the World Cup final, Sunday night in Antwerp should be quite a night!!
White watch
150 miles to Antwerp ( via a BBQ tomorrow night apparently)
