We’ve had a busy week this week with day sails to Cowes and back everyday since Sunday, hence it’s been a bit quiet from us. I think it’s been enjoyed all round by everyone, we even managed to get in some assisted climbs with our special guests on Wednesday – the guys from Battle Back, Help for Heroes and Combat Stress.
As usual the foods been great, Graham’s been going all out to impress our guests all week and we’ve seen some pretty good sights breaking through plenty of yacht races. Had a pretty close shave with one of the yachts on Tuesday, although I think he’d have come out worse than us.
We all had a bit of time to relax last night, as the day sail wasn’t due to depart until 12pm today – It’s still a long day though, we’re heading over for the final fireworks at Cowes and won’t be back in port until around midnight.
Then Sunday we set sail for Dublin – during the voyage we’ll be stopping off in Belfast to take in the sites of the Tall Ships Festival for 3 days where we’ve got the BBC on board. All exciting stuff.
