Left Great Yarmouth Monday 4pm in bright cloudy conditions with light winds and seas. Hoisted sails and sailed through the night in calm blissful conditions, en route for Scheveningen in Holland. Tuesday, we enjoyed beautiful sunny weather on our watch 8am-1230pm. Millie missed it because she was on mess duty.
Trimmed sails at 2pm as winds light and dying off. Motored into Scheveningen in wonderful fine weather. Welcomed by a group of young locals.
After docking our watch went ashore for a meal and several beers. Then a walk on the beach when two fair damsels went for a dip in the warm water.
Lovely evening for a stroll back to the ship for more beer (the cheapest beers around!!) Great nights sleep and up to a bright start ready to depart at midday.
Wonderful trip so far. Bit more wild today!
