In the afternoon we motored towards Edinburgh the capital of Scotland and home of some of our crew. Brave climbers went aloft in a strong cold breeze to stow the heavy sails neatly. Our watch took control at 4pm as we were approaching the lock at Leith. Complicated manoeuvres, directed by the captain took us into the lock and on to Ocean Terminal where we parked in front of the (ex royal) yacht Britannia. Watches found their remaining clean clothes if any, and went ashore for supper. Our watch went to Tapa, surprise surprise a tapas bar. We shared a mixture of excellent Spanish food washed down with Spanish wine. The hardy members of our watch went to two pubs, the names of which they can't remember. They drank whisky till closing time and staggered along the gangplank back onto Tenacious. We've now got up early to clear and pack, and having done this so efficiently we were offered the privilege of writing our final blog Sarah and Gwen AS
