After an early breakfast we commenced our watch at 8.00am wrapped in layers of clothing. Sam our mess man was already up and messing about!
Sails filled we reached an average speed of 7 knots, identifying the welsh mainland including Cadar Idris and Snowdon.
Happy hour interrupted our watch with a bit of light relief. When helming the ship north along the coast of Whales oops did it again Wales, we managed to turn to the West back to Ireland to the great consternation of the permanent crew. This was soon rectified.
