Final day and back to port. Although the water was calm and we needed to motor our way into Las Palmas, it was fantastic. The day ended with us perfoming one of the most memorable events. Assisiting those those people who had the spirt but not the physicality to make it up the mast to the first nest. The look on the faces of father and son, Peter and Anthony, brought a tear to the eyes of some who were able to witness such a special moment.
Captain Simon and crew have been nothing short of brilliant. Learning opportunities abound around the Tenacious' rigging and deck.
On a personal note, JST gave an opportunity for members of my family to enjoy one of our best adventures to date.
Thank you to all for providing an experience of a lifetime.
