Arrival was just like first day at school where we met the prefects, teachers and the headmaster (or as he prefers to be called, the Captain). We were quickly initiated into the art of climbing the rigging on the seaward side while in dock to avoid a messy clear up should we miss our footing. The art of being seasick involved checking the weather forecast for wind direction. The food keeps coming but the tempting offer of a cook book with the cook's recepies strangely seems of little interest! On the sailing side the fuel surcharge is being well used up as we dodge the 300+ entrants of the Fastnet race who are trying to beat us to Lands End where we turn North with the wind at our tail.
