After a busy morning restocking the ship, the voyage crew joined us, earlier than usual, so that we could get away before they closed Edinburgh Lock.
They all arrived on time (yipee) and assisted with the stowing of the stores (double yipee) so that we could get away on time.
We went through the lock, closely followed by a hugh fisheries protection vessel, then headed off in the direction of Holland. For some their first night on board will be awake on watch, as we will sail through the night,
while the rest of us hope for a calm sea and a good sleep. Caroline MP.
