We got our wake up call at 0730 as usual but there was something different about this morning ... the sun was shining everyone was in great form even those that had a late night last night. We have just been informed by Adam that he has video evidence of the voyage crew in drink-induced shinanagins including myself the Irish person, and Healey salsa dancing. At breakfast the ships crew sang happy birthday to Tracy, 21 today.
Prepared to leave Cherbourg at 0930, which went without a hitch. Once in open water, we dropped the pilot off, then taking into account wind and tide we set our course for the east side of the IOW. At smoko we shared birthday cake with Tracy and then cracked on with happy hour.
After lunch we braced the yards and set the sails and sat through the first mates informative talk on setting the sails. Everyone now is getting mindset for our evening at anchor off the IOW when we are going to purchase all kinds of Tenacious goodies .
