Greetings from Malta.
Against all the odds, all the crew managed to get here to Malta on time - no cancelled flights! Have to say those of us that flew out of Gatwick at 0730 on Sunday morning were surprised that anyone got here on Monday, but they do say the sun shines on the righteous, and so we must all be very good!
On Monday evening, we did crew introductions and a couple of briefings, followed by dinner, with the intention of doing more briefings, and hands aloft on Tuesday morning, before sailing at about 2pm.
Unfortunately we needed to take fuel on board and we hit a bureaucratic wall, which has delayed matters.
So, shore leave has been granted and we are planning to set off on Wednesday morning - fingers and lots of other things crossed Sue MP
