Forward Port Watch
We are presently racing with a boat speed of a considerable 9-11 knots, propelled by significant winds (Force 6/7). Its been a cracking trip thus far, the weather presenting a biblical concoction of thunder, lightning, torrential rain, sunshine and wind. We have been successful in positioning ourselves strongly in the race so far. Apparently there are just 2 square riggers in sight, both of which are lagging behind us. Currently at a rather steep slope and can only see water out of the portholes!
