A busy night dodging Fastnet yachts, ferries and lighthouses before turning north looking for a favourable wind. After breakfast we finally find the sails and set them after a lot of climbing and pulling- a tremendous sight.
We might make the Guinness in time after all so that we can all be discombobulated together. The afternoon brings dolphins and a whale and as we write a "MAYDAY" involving a light aircraft crash( too far away for us to get involved though MP). The radio has been busy with all the rescue chatter - further details in next bulletin.
PS: We now understand the term "no such thing as a free lunch" the food is so good we cannot refuse the many tasks that continually crop up.
PPS: The pilot has been rescued safely by helicopter no casualties.
