It is a beautiful, clear, sunny and calm day the equal of any we have had this summer. By mid afternoon we are passing between Land's End and Wolf Rock lighthouse. Despite being quite short-handed and running a three watch system (instead of the usual four) we are settling into the rhythm of life aboard. The grub as usual is great and comes in large quantities. Some of the off-watch are making new "baggy-wrinkles", the hairy, sponge-like wrappings that are used to protect against sails chaffing on stays and other rigging. We are hoping to get some sails up once around Land's End and expecting to get into the Haven and anchored by tomorrow night.Until then, we shall take advantage of the generous weather and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere whilst we still can!!
