A bright sunny morning welcomed the crew of Tenacious in the harbour of La Palma. Captain took us out of the harbour at 0900 hours. At 1500 Tenacious was under full sail on a flatish sea wind force 3 making a course towards Tennerife of 105 degrees magnetic.

present. Disaster has struck, your correspondance has lost his stick
overboard. He had had it for over fifty years and it was a gift. It went into the sea and sank instantly to the bottom. A few hours later we saw a leather back turtle. The joke is that the tuirtle has caught it and according to the Mate he has grown as cantankerous as the stick's origional owner!
