Last night saw several members of Forward Port venturing into Monaco town to sample some of the night life; in our search for a bar where the drinks were not astronomically priced we managed to find a bar populated exclusively with British people!. Several of us stood the 4am to 8am harbour watch - bit chilly and largely uneventful.
We started today with some safety briefings. Afterwards most of us managed to climb the mast. Then we enjoyed an alfresco lunch on deck overlooking the stately town of Monaco. After lunch we left Monaco, having a send off from a rather posh limo, on a course of 120. We then had a lesson in sail setting, which got a bit confused at points but we managed to pull it together in the end. After that we were all very hungry for our dinner, mmmm roast pork!
