13/05/2009 - Lord Nelson
After an eventful night, quiet time this afternoon was disturbed by the
sound of snoring from many a bunk!! We had made good progress through the night, with a strong easterly wind
requiring changes of sails and bracing the yards. Because of the easterly
wind the decision was made to head for Lundy Island. The crew are looking
forward to exploring, puffin spotting, and a drink in the pub! And if we are
really lucky a famous Lundy Cabbage!!
Retail therapy courtesy of the JST Emporium was popular and some of the crew
are now looking much smarter. We reached the island at about 19:30, and
dropped anchor ready for a quiet night.
