It's been a busy night. We were on watch from mid night to 4 am. We had to deal with the fact that we were going too fast; which might not sound like a big problem, but arriving too early could be difficult. The solution?We had to hand four sails and at 4am joined with the ongoing watch to brace the yards, significantly reducing our speed. All in all it was an interesting evening and night, as we continued to sail through the oil and gas fields.
The sea has been a little rougher today and a few people were feeling a little queasy.We went past many ancohored ships which were laid up and had minimal crew on board. .
Having now arrived in Holland, Scheveningen, we are busy plotting our evening ashore and a day of sight seeing tomorrow.
