The day begun early with a wake up call of the anchor being dropped. But the lucky majority were able to go straight back to sleep until being woken for a single sitting breakfast. There was much happiness to be had as everyone got involved giving the ship a good clean before weighing anchor and making for the solent under engine. Those who were happy aloft were soon putting their harnesses on to help stow the sails and make the ship look tidy for coming alongside. The shipping changed to smaller yachts as we approached Cowes where we were met by some friendly faces and the captin's dog. A few stayed on board to take one of the fore sails down while the girls headed to the shops before a quick wash up in preparation for a night on the town.
