Quite an exciting day today. After morning smoko, Penelope was 'hoyed' over the side so that the permanent crew could do a 'man overboard' exercise.
Tenacious was turned into wind, the doti launched and our victim was successfully rescued. Opportunity was taken to take photos of the ship under full sail- unfortunately in the process Steve's camera went overboard!
Lots of sailing done today in the sunshine with the wind from the north east, but later in the afternoon, dark rain clouds gathered and we had a heavy squall. Red Watch caught the worst of the rain as they came on watch and the rain continued intermittently over night, with sail changing and bracing to make the most of the wind.
Will be in sight of the Balearics shortly.
