Wednesday 16th Sept. Day 7 - Today has been a windy day! It has made things exciting and navigating through a narrow channel to get to the start of the Thames Estuary was a tough job, but the forward port watch did a fantastic job on spotting the buoys. The sailing was excellent and we made good time to our overnight destination. We dropped anchor for the night just off Southend. This involved storing the sails and a fantastic effort by the whole crew made the job go smoothly, well done everyone! Well this is the end of this blog and almost the end of the trip. We will be a sad for it to end but it has been wonderful.
