We woke up to a delicious breakfast which included American waffles, bacon and boiled eggs, we are turning into well oiled eating machines. This was followed by a beautifully illustrated lesson of sail setting. Then on to happy hour, which was strictly supervised by the wheelchair users. The captain had to negotiate some mops and buckets during his rounds. Some of our crewmembers were hit by a mysterious illness, which put them in the position of using a wheelchair. This made them appreciate some of the difficulties some of us face everyday. After a few hours, we were witness to their miraculous recoveries! Whilst some of us are on watch the rest of the crew are working on their ‘Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer’ tans. Another sunny, windy day with the promise of a BBQ this evening!
