The day is greeted by the Captain saying "where has our wall to wall sunshine gone!"
It appears folks we are back into the Scotland that most of us know---overcast, rain and cold. This however, does not deter us to face the rough seas as we leave Kirkwall and the wind kindly pushes us off the harbour side.
Lord Nelson steams along with winds coming from SSE 6 gusting 7. By 13:00 hrs engines are off and we start sailing with a westerly wind blowing at force 4. So tonight we will be lulled into sleep by the gentle rocking of the ship.
