20/07/2010 - Tenacious

Aft Starboard, Gina, Tash and Mike after leaving Friedrickshaven (what a tongue twister!!!) yesterday afternoon, we went to anchor and  the crew was treated to a barbeque (BBQ) and a bucket of punch! This represented a new peak on my Tenacious Voyage Coolness Chart (TVCC).

This morning we motored down the channel and turned around to sail towards Aalborg. I can't wait for my harbour watch tonight lol (laugh out loud!) This adventure has not only been a physical challenge but also an inspirational mental awakening to the awesomeness of the deep blue sea. It has also been incredible to learn about all these new things whether it is a talk about sails or John showing us his rigging LOL!

I am SO sad that the journey is coming to an end (this has put a record breaking depression on my TVCC )   :( . but I'm really looking forward to having a blast at the tall ships race crew party!
