20/08/2010 - Tenacious

Dated: 20/08/2010

After sailing through the night, Tenacious is due to arrive into Cherbourg at 3.30pm. There were several shooting stars seen in night watch as well as Venus and Jupiter, and when we looked through binoculars we could see 4 of Jupiters moons.

Lewis steered really well with the aid of the talking compass, which drowned his trademark "Brrrap Ding!!"

And finally, Irish snap has become very popular and brings as much pain as enjoyment in the nightly games. There has also been a backgammon tournament set up with fierce competition there, as Alan and Charlie played for 2 hours.

Leadership at sea are experiencing being disabled today. Evereyone laugh at Alan with no brakes on his wheelchair!

Everyone onboard is looking forward to shore leave tonight after a day of hard work.
