Yesterday we were sailing hard on the wind, which was very exciting for the helmsman and the crew, not knowing whether we were winning or not. Today just before arriving in Varna we heard that we had won our class(provisional result!). Much rejoicing amongst the crew. It had been a hard time but everyone worked their hardest and pulled together.

Tenacious was indeed first in Class A for Race 1 Leg 2, from Istanbul to Varna - a great result for all the tremendous effort this very small crew put in.
