A lovely morning in West India Dock, under the eye of Canary Wharf. The 2-6 heavers who had been helping out with various functions left the ship after one final dose of Happiness ( cleaning the heads). The little Brigs could been seen beating up and down the dock except when one was going backwartds under sail. In the afternoon the voyage crew arrived by various means, Anthony John and Travey arrived the previous night as due to the flight situation they had left home in Ireland at 05.00 and travelled by ferry, trains and buses to eventually arrive at 21.00 all with a wheelchair and luggage they were very grateful to arrive. Once all the voyage crew were on board it was safety briefings before the Thames River Pilots came on board to take us out of the dock aat 17.00 and down the river towards the Thames Estuary.
