Greetings from White Watch - John, Jerry, Isobel, Bill, Sarah, Luke, Marcia and Ros. Two weeks ago we'd not met each other and now we're bosom buddies that is one of the great things about these Voyages. How life changes in two days; we?ve gone from languishing in sunny Gibraltar to real sailing in the Atlantic Ocean and being reminded that life at sea is not all sitting on deck basking in the sun. We're currently heading West with eleven sails set and five knots on the clock and another two days should see us turn right and head North (unfortunately, the US is not on the itinerary!) towards a stop somewhere depending on what the wind is doing. The one thing for sure is that after two weeks at sea we'll all be ready for a run ashore and, perhaps, a pint of Guinness. Our best wishes go to all our readers, families and friends.
