22/09/2009 - Tenacious

Day 3, Forward Port watch on at 8am after a hearty breakfast of sausage, bacon and eggy bread. Good sailing weather today- we are now in Force 5 winds running before jib, fore lower topsail and main upper and lower topsails. The wind picked up overnight and the preceding team had a busy night. Land has already been sighted and traffic lanes are becoming busy with ships. We should be in Scheveningen at 3pm if all is still going according to plan and are looking forward to sampling the delights of the Hague when we go ashore tomorrow!
