We anchored last night off Southend. Calm sea & nearly clear sky. GLORIOUS sunset & sunrise. Weighed anchor 09.15. Set off towards Thames estuary. Now we are really sailing, stopped engines late afternoon after reaching French waters; now late evening and we are planning to keep sailing overnight, wind willing! Bye.
