The time is 07.30 on Saturday 23rd November and this is your wake up call.........
Our week afloat is ebbing fast
today is one away from last.
Let's hope the Captain hears our plea -
"Don't rush on back, let's stay away
and anchor off in some sweet bay.
Let's have an evening in together
as a crew; let's entertain each other
as we like - guitar and whistle, voice and song, plus beer to help the night along.
Good morning, Tenacious.
So the day gets off to a good start as we head back to Las Palmas in time to see the start of the Arc race as they all gather for their trans Atlantic crossing.
After the usual ship chores the voyage crew dissappear into town to have a swim before the final dinner at El Cids.
Much merriment was had only to be marred by an early morning waking on 24th to clean the ship for voyage 235.
It is not long and goodbyes are made to voyage crew 234.We are all sorry to see them go.
