Today we awoke to not a great day weather wise but has turned into a gorgeous, bright and sunny day.
I didn’t have much breakfast because I knew I was going aloft with the help of some very cool people. When I went aloft, it was the best experience of my entire life. It was so beautiful and gorgeous to see the sights and sounds of St. Malo from the first platform.
When I came down I didn’t feel too well and was promptly sick, I am just glad that it happened when I had landed safely back on deck otherwise, well, let’s just say, poor, poor people below.
Another great experience happened to me today, I steered us out of port with the help of Marco and Rachel and of course, Captain Claire. I cannot actually describe the feeling of steering such a gorgeous ship out of port; it was the experience of a lifetime. It was also a pretty nerve-wracking experience because I had orders to follow from Captain Claire but also we had to have a pilot come aboard and I had to follow their orders too and that was worrying because I wanted to make sure I did a great job and not mess it up.
I am very pleased with today.
