The morning found us anchored of the Isle de Brehat. After a hearty breakfast Rob had a wheelchair flight up the foremast. The voyage crew were then ferried across to the island, alighted and waded "wet-bottomed" ashore.
A pleasant day was spent strolling around in appreciation of the island's beauty, followed by a long awaited mediocre lunch. We then spent a very pleasant afternoon relaxing in the village square sampling the not so local libation of (very potent) Irish coffees. We managed to catch the last boat, heavily laden with wine and sundry goodies. Back on board we were greeted with the (in) famous Engineers "punch", followed by one of Graham's superb meals. A very enjoyable day was had by all.
