Day 17 has seen Tenacious depart in true style by sailing off her anchor without so much as a rumble from the engines. The Aft Starboard afternoon watch started with our Irish seamstress raising yet another refurbished flag, the sea Ensign this time. Steady SW winds are giving us an exhilarating sail, the sun is shining and many of the crew have chosen to siesta on deck. The rocky shore of Ibiza has been passed to starboard and we are now on a course of 327 degrees heading for Barcelona.
Stop press- good news-we have just heard that the JST has been awarded the Sail Training Organisation of the Year Award- well done everyone.
