Right... this is my first ever voyage with the JST so far loving every second.
We are currently on watch and passing Madeira. We saw three dolphins jumping out of the water yesterday and one dolphin following the ship We also have seen Whales spouts out of the water. On last nights watch we saw phosphorescence in the water and lightning above us, very dramatic. We have now got sails up which is great, still waiting for the wind so we still have the motors on. We are on course still to the Azores, hope to reach them in four days weather permitting. There has been loads of birthday cake this trip so far due to a couple of birthdays (another few birthdays to come yet! MP). John who is on our watch has reached the grand age of 84 yesterday ......and we still haven't eaten all the eggs!!
