This evening was designated for our Watch meal out in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and so we headed into the old town and chose a very picturesque restaurant. Great minds think alike and after we had settled in we noticed that in the adjacent restaurants everyone else from the ship had chosen the same location. Really good steaks and beer and a good time was had by all. The heavens opened just in time to completely saturate Andy and Taff as they made their way back to the ship for their 22:00 watch. Quiet uneventful night and after our usual hearty breakfast we made preparations to depart for Mogan on the south west coast of Gran Canaria, getting under way for 09:30.
Once again, lovely sunny weather - good for motoring, but sadly no wind for sailing. More dolphins sighted as we left port and then into happy hour.
The highlight of the day was Graeme's chinese spring rolls and savoury noodles and we are all looking forward to going for a swim once we reach Mogan later this afternoon.
