After a hectic morning doing all the briefings (too many late arrivals last night to do any yesterday), the hands aloft and evac drills – using able-bodied “volunteers” we finally left Lavrion after a delicous lunch.
Heading south in the SW Aegean Sea in (Sorry folks at home in the UK) glorious warm sunshine – or, for the families of our Australian shipmates, quite cool weather.
Once underway, we busied ourselves learning “the ropes” and practicing our bracing technique.
Once we were proficient in those skills we set sail south and towards the sunset.
