Hi all, after a night in the Isle of Man, all hands to deck for assisted climbs Tim and Cathy made it to the platform and back down to the sound of cheers and pats on the back. Meanwhile Tom was trying to dry off his clothes having slightly upset Matt the Bosun's mate who got his revenge by drowning him with the fire hose!
Last time for people to have a look around Douglas or go shopping for last minute presents. We finally cast off our mooring lines and set off into the foggy horizon. Suddenly, a shout from the bridge, a small black fin was seen poking out of the water. This turned out to be a basking shark!Under motor some crew members climbed aloft to sea store the main course sail. After a brillant tea served up by cookie Gerry, all hands to deck to set the sails!
The weather was brillant for sun bathing but not good for sailing, due to the lack of wind :( Everyone enjoyed the lovely sunset, with Minke whales seen circling the ship.
