We have arrived at Kristiansand from Risor, after a spectacular sail in company with the other Tall Ships through a Fjord with houses along each side. We were acompanied by hundreds of small craft and villagers waving flags on the shore. It was an experience we will never forget.
Now we are preparing for the festivities to end our voyage and the start of the next leg of the Race.
We had no time to relax because we needed to tidy up the ship in readyness for a visit from the Crown Princess of Norway who came onto Tenacious after the opening of this stage of the Race. She came on board and was met by Simon the Captain and had a short walk round the deck, shaking hands with members of the crew including W/L Nick who dressed specially for the occasion in his oilskin jacket.
We are now getting over various sporting activities between the crews including canoeing, archery & volleyball. Lilly gets the prize for the best effort overall for her performance in the canoeing.
It's now time to get ready for the crew parade and Crew Party.
