We woke with Tenacious anchored in glorious sunshine- no hint of autumn here. The crew were instructed in various aspects of sailing a tall ship,
including: bracing the yards, evacuation drill in case of emergency, and climbing the masts & yards to set the sails. As the anchor was raised it had to be hosed down as it was covered in enough mud to keep a potter in business for many months. We then set off under sail, heading where the wind will take us (and where Neil, the captain steers us). We have a film crew on board who have been taking loads of film and photos.....very exciting.
