Arrived at Horta, Faial, in the Azores, after happiness, leaving the ship shipshape for any potential visitors. Unfortunately, the yacht occupying the berth we had booked had failed to realise the change of the clocks to summertime. After an hour hanging around the entrance to the harbour, we eventually came alongside in very tricky conditions, but the captain skillfully guided us to a safe mooring. One of the crew had a small argument with a milk jug - guess who won!
Due to a shortage of Guinness aboard, our next stop will have to be Cork, leaving on Wednesday if we can last that long. We are all looking forward to our trip ashore here to explore the whaling past, and maybe a few bars.
