The day started loudly with an alarm! 04.45 fortunately it was a false alarm but never the less we were awake...
Tea and coffee to those that were up helped. It’s a beautiful day sun shining blue skies alongside in Dublin. We're not the only tallship here Atlantis, Eendracht, Kathleen and May, Lord Nelson celebrating the Maritime Festival in Dublin. Breakfast followed by wheelchairs aloft and assisted climbs. Once lunch completed some people took time ashore then we had open ship from 2 till 4, with a large amount of people including children who liked to play with the ships whistle being shown around by volunteer crew. It seemed very quiet once they left. Mess Men then resumed duties to assist with preparing dinner which was lovely. Compliments to the Chef. Crew members took the opportunity to explore Dublin and then to harbour watches. Another beautiful day aboard with plan to leave Dublin in the morning and sail to Kinsale depending on weather.
