The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) are to exhibit at the Daily Telegraph Adventure and Travel show, placing Adventure holidays for all at the forefront of the adventure travel market.
As an organisation with a longstanding record of providing adventure holidays that integrate able bodied and disabled people, the JST is now leading the charge to bring accessible holidays into the mainstream market.
The Telegraph Sponsored show is taking place at the Business and Design Centre in Islington, London on the 24th – the 26th January 2008 and is a major event for leading companies in the adventure and outward bound holiday sector.
The presence of the JST reinforces the fact there is now a wide demand for adventure holidays designed to cater for people with varying levels of ability on an equal terms basis.
As a registered charity that provides sailing adventures on the high seas for both disabled and able-bodied individuals, the JST promotes and demonstrates the benefits of mixed ability crews and in doing so breaks down barriers often faced by disabled people, allowing them to push themselves to realise their potential and achieve goals in life they never dreamt possible.
The JST’s 30 years of success is testament to the demand for adventure holidays that enable people to recognise their strengths not weaknesses.
The JST owns and operates two beautiful square-riggers LORD NELSON and TENACIOUS. These magnificent vessels are also ground breaking as they are the only tall ships in the world to have been specifically designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail together as equals on adventure holidays around Northern Europe, the Canaries and the Caribbean.
