We are alongside in SUNNY Kirkwall, Orkney. We had a pretty smooth, gently rocking motion sailing here from Lerwick, much better than it could have been, and only a couple of crew felt queasy – no meals missed!

Voyage LN 782 begins !
Yesterday the new voyage crew joined us between 2pm and 3.30pm from all over the UK , arriving in brilliant sunshine and amidst the throngs visiting us in the Tall Ships Event.

Forward starbord watch.
There was very little wind yesterday afternoon and evening. Most excitment came as we watched Chri stian Radich past us, very very, very slowely going in the opposite d irection, that kept us entertained for about a half hour in the still water.

The past 24 hours have been full of laughter due to an interesting game of Twister and Cup Football. Forward Port are currently doing their watch while dodging Lobster pots and racing boats.

Wednesday afternoon finds Forward Starboard sailing on a broad reach with a F5 in brilliant sunshine and sparkling seas; perfect weather for lazing around on the bowsprit and very different to yesterday evening's sail to Weymouth Bay.
