- PRESS RELEASE - Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) is on the look out for adventurers from the Pembrokeshire area. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to travel across the ocean as a crew member on board a spectacular tall ship then JST need you.
On Monday 9th November Tenacious sets sail from Milford Haven for the warmer climbs of Barcelona on an impressive 21 day voyage, and there are 10 spaces still left for the lucky people who can make it.
The voyage would usually cost £949, even with the funding that Jubilee Sailing Trust provides, but for residents of Pembrokeshire that haven’t sailed with us before, additional funding has been donated specifically to get people out to sea.
Jubilee Sailing Trust owns and operates the only two tall ships in the world that have been designed and built specifically to enable able bodied and disabled people to sail. Anyone from the age of 16 to 100 can sail and experience doesn’t matter, everyone can become part of the crew.
To find out how to secure a place on this voyage, Pembrokeshire residents should contact Jubilee Sailing Trust on 023 8044 9108.
65m long tall ship, Tenacious, arrived in Milford Haven on Tuesday 13th October, where she will be dry docked for most of her stay.
Milford Haven is the favourite dry dock of Jubilee Sailing Trust and both of the tall ships owned by the charity return to the dock time and time again.
